Directions

Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Combine 1 cup of rice with 1.25 cups of water in a pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 18 minutes or until the water is absorbed. Let it stand covered for 10 minutes before fluffing with a fork.
